Dr. Chris Neilson has been practicing dentistry in St. George, Utah since 1997. After earning a biology degree from Brigham Young University, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Case School of Dental Medicine. He then pursued a general practice residency at the University of Utah Hospital, where he received advanced training in dental implants, sedation dentistry, Arrowhead Smile Design, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
A Board-Certified Dentist, Dr. Neilson is a member of the Utah Dental Association and the Southern Utah Dental Association, where he served as President from 2004–2005. He is also an active member of the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce and a dedicated supporter of the local community.
Dr. Neilson is a long-time supporter of Utah Tech University, particularly Utah Tech Athletics and the College of Science, with a special focus on the Dental Hygiene Department, where he served as Advisory Board President for three years. His commitment to education and mentorship extends into his role as Clinical Director at SunRock Dental Careers, where he guides students through practical, hands-on training and real-world preparation for the dental field.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Neilson enjoys spending time with his wife, Ronda, and their family. He’s accomplished multiple marathons and loves riding his Harley-Davidson through the stunning landscapes of Southern Utah. He also enjoys boating, snow skiing, and mountain biking.
