I loved being a student at SunRock! I was amazed at how much we learned in 11 weeks. Kristie was a great teacher! She kept the class fun and was always willing to answer our questions. Classes are convenient, two evenings a week, homework isn’t stressful, and you are able to intern at their office (Bloomington Dental) during business hours whenever convenient for you! Dr. Neilson is a great teacher as well, he was very patient with me when I started assisting chairside, which helped me be less nervous! Don’t ever be afraid to ask questions, everyone is more than happy to answer! They also have a class for building your resume as a Dental Assistant, as well as a mock interview so you know what to expect. By the end of the course you will have your Radiology, CPR, and Dental Assisting certificates. Even after you graduate, you are always welcome to go back and refresh your skills! They give great recommendations, so definitely put them on your resume! I appreciate everything Bloomington Dental has done for me to help me find a career I love, and I’m excited about my new job!
